- When station was in use, it was an annexe to the Royal Oak Hotel , the Royal Oak Garages which formed a square, entering through the arch way, on the right hand side two garages had red doors which housed two Land Rover Pumps.

- In 1953 the stables became home to Betws-y-Coed’s first fire station. A hose-reel tender and trailer pump were based here.
